The Christie Branch has a diverse collection that includes DVDs; Adult Fiction & Non Fiction; Large Print materials; Young Adult Fiction; Early/Easy Readers; Junior Fiction & Non Fiction; Junior Graphic Novels; Audiobooks on CD; Picture Books; and Magazines. A dedicated local history section is also available.
There are 4 computer stations and free WiFi access. Scanning, black and white & colour printing, photocopying, and faxing is also available.
Children are welcome to use the touchscreen computer in the children’s area of the library which offers educational games, story telling and art programs.
The Christie branch is equipped with a Cricut Maker.
The branch also offers a selection of passes and educational kits available for loan, including 2 Ontario Park Day-Use Vehicle Permits, and a Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve Biodiversity Backpack.
